BlackRock Canada has launched two exchange-traded funds on the Toronto Stock Exchange, marking a significant move in integrating traditional equity investments with Bitcoin exposure. The iShares Equity + Bitcoin ETF Portfolio (IBQT) is designed to allocate 3% of its holdings to Bitcoin through BlackRock’s Canadian iShares Bitcoin ETF, providing investors diversified global and international equity exposure while also offering cryptocurrency integration. Concurrently, the iShares Core MSCI All-International Equity Index ETF (XINT) tracks a global index but excludes any Bitcoin holdings, focusing solely on a broad spectrum of equities from developed and emerging markets outside Canada and the US.
