US spot Bitcoin and Ether exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded unprecedented inflows on Thursday, as rising prices and growing investor appetite drove net assets to a new high. Data from SoSoValue showed $608.3 million in net inflows into Bitcoin ETFs on Thursday alone, with weekly inflows surpassing $1.6 billion. Ether ETFs also saw their largest single-day net inflow since October 2025, reflecting renewed confidence in the cryptocurrency market.
Bitcoin prices rose 7.9% to $75,133, while Ether climbed 4.6% to $2,357, according to CoinGecko. The inflows followed strong daily performances earlier in the week, with Bitcoin ETFs attracting $297.6 million on Monday, $189.3 million on Tuesday, and $517.2 million on Wednesday. Cumulative net inflows into Bitcoin ETFs since the start of the year now stand at $53.4 billion.
Ether ETFs, which took in $220.8 million on Thursday, saw their largest daily inflow since October 28, 2025. This followed $512.2 million in inflows across four trading sessions in August, boosting monthly net inflows to $754.9 million. Total net assets across both Bitcoin and Ether ETFs reached $13.58 billion, underscoring the expanding role of institutional investors in the crypto sector.
