U.S. Ether ETFs See Third Consecutive Day of Net Outflows

U.S. spot ether exchange-traded funds experienced $39 million in net outflows on Thursday, marking the third consecutive day of withdrawals following $224 million on Wednesday and $141 million on Tuesday, according to SoSoValue. Ether’s price rose 2% to $2,470 during the period, though the outflows contrasted with $159 million in inflows to bitcoin ETFs and $47 million added to Zcash’s sole U.S. fund.

Ether funds have accumulated a $1.5 billion lead over 30 days, while bitcoin ETFs have drawn $2.5 billion in inflows. Zcash’s fund saw $230 million in monthly inflows, despite a 10% rise in its price to $1,488. XRP ETFs, however, recorded $5 million in outflows.

The divergent performance highlights shifting investor sentiment across crypto assets, with bitcoin and zcash attracting inflows even as ether faces sustained outflows. Whether zcash’s inflows will persist amid broader market volatility remains uncertain.
