Tether Completes First Full Financial Audit

### Standfirst

Blockchain company Tether has announced the completion of its first full financial audit, conducted by KPMG U.S., one of the “Big Four” accounting firms. The audit provided an unqualified opinion on Tether International’s financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2025, indicating that they fairly presented the company’s financial position in all material respects under U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). According to Tether, the audited figures show reserves exceeding liabilities by $6.814 billion at the end of 2025.

The NY Attorney General’s office recently concluded its investigation with Tether, leading to the requirement for quarterly attestations as per new regulations. Tether International is now expected to publicly disclose the results of this financial audit, though no specific timeframe has been provided.
