Bitmine Immersion Technologies has significantly increased its Ethereum holdings, now accounting for almost 5.8 million ETH. The company’s treasury currently contains 5,797,813 ETH, representing a substantial portion of the cryptocurrency’s circulating supply – approximately 4.8%. This expansion marks a key element in Bitmine’s established strategy.
The strategic move began on June 30 last year and has seen an addition of 10,399 ETH over the past week, solidifying its position as the largest corporate holder globally. Bitmine operates through its MAVAN platform, providing institutional-grade staking services. The company’s total crypto holdings, encompassing cash and investments, stand at approximately $11.3 billion.
According to Chairman Tom Lee, the Ethereum stash is valued around $10.9 billion. He stated that “in July, ETH outperformed the Nasdaq 100 by 2,500bp (or 25 percentage points).” This performance reflects a strengthening of crypto fundamentals and signifies the largest outperformance since July 2025.
Bitmine’s strategy includes projected annual staking rewards of 291 million and annualized staking revenue of 247 million. At the end of July 2025, Ethereum’s price was expected to be $2,375, while by August 2025 it was anticipated to reach $4,057. These figures illustrate a considerable upward trajectory for the cryptocurrency.
The company’s overall portfolio equates to a total value of $11.3 billion. Confirming the importance of this figure, Tom Lee added that “this is the largest outperformance since July 2025 and we believe it is reflective of the strengthening fundamentals of crypto.” Bitmine continues to hold a key position within the Ethereum ecosystem.
