Bank Leumi to Offer Cryptocurrency Trading in Early 2027

Israel’s Bank Leumi is set to launch a cryptocurrency trading service through its investment app, allowing customers to trade Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), and Solana (SOL). The service is expected to commence early next year. In collaboration with Galaxy Digital, a digital assets company founded by Mike Novogratz and currently listed on the Nasdaq under the ticker GLXY, Bank Leumi will utilize GalaxyOne Institutional for trading services and GK8’s custody infrastructure platform to support its digital asset infrastructure.

The move signifies an expansion into the burgeoning cryptocurrency market, marking Israel’s retail and business operations bank as one of the latest financial institutions to enter this space.
