Bank Leumi to Offer Cryptocurrency Trading in 2027

Israel’s largest bank will introduce cryptocurrency trading services through its mobile app, marking the first such offering by an Israeli institution. Galaxy Digital facilitates these transactions via its GalaxyOne Institutional platform.
Bank Leumi, Israel’s largest bank, has announced plans to launch cryptocurrency trading services including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Solana in 2027. The move will be facilitated through Bank Leumi’s mobile app, Peppermint. Galaxy Digital, which provides trading and related services via its GalaxyOne Institutional platform, will provide the custody infrastructure for these transactions.
The partnership between Bank Leumi and Galaxy Digital follows a strategic alliance to bring innovative financial products to customers. Commercial terms such as fees and customer eligibility requirements have yet to be disclosed.
