Lucy Rigby, the UK Economic Secretary to the Treasury, has endorsed an inquiry into banking access for digital asset businesses following reports of restrictions faced by crypto firms.
Leading the inquiry are Gurinder Singh Josan CBE MP and Lord Vaizey of Didcot, co-chairs of the Crypto and Digital Assets All-Party Parliamentary Group, which focuses on digital assets and cryptocurrencies.
The inquiry aims to gather information from major banks regarding their policies for dealing with digital asset businesses, following concerns about barriers faced by crypto firms.
