A petition launched on Change.org by the Shiba Inu cryptocurrency group which is aimed at getting the popular meme token listed on Robinhood has garnered over 250,000 signatures, just 50,000 short of its target figure of 300,000 signatories.
The petition, which was started by Shiba enthusiast Tristan Luke on May 10th, is one of various outlets that fans of the token are using to publicise their beloved memecoin. The significant amount of signatures already achieved goes a long way to demonstrating the strength of support behind the token, and helps to further emphasise Shiba’s recent surge in popularity.
The token recently appealed to Coinbase in a similar manner, gaining a listing on their globally popular trading platform after just 41,406 signatures. Shiba is riding high after its explosive surge that saw it enter the top 20 coins by market capitalisation, the token currently sits at 12th on the list (at the time of writing), with little movement on a per-coin basis required to see it overtake its Muse, Dogecoin.
