BTCPay Server has launched a bounty to recover bitcoin stolen from merchants last week, offering up to 3 BTC (worth roughly $190,000 at current prices). The bounty is open to anyone with useful information and will be split among victims based on their losses.
Maximum amount offered for recovery: 3 BTC. Estimated value at current prices: $190,000.
The bounty scheme also includes donations of 0.21 BTC each to developers and security researchers who helped in the initiative as part of a wider bounty program for responsible security disclosures.
