US-listed Bitcoin Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) recorded a modest influx of capital during July 2026, reversing recent outflows. However, the year-to-date figures remain considerably negative reflecting ongoing investor sentiment.
According to data from SoSoValue, net inflows totalled $172.4 million for the week ending July 31, 2026. This represents a shift from the substantial withdrawals seen in May and June of this year. The data confirms that total outflows over these two months amounted to nearly $7 billion.
A significant outflow was recorded on Friday, July 13, 2026, with net redemptions reaching $265.4 million – a peak since July 13, 2026. This day’s withdrawals contributed substantially to the cumulative two-month outflows, reaching approximately $7 billion in total.
Despite this single-day withdrawal, inflows for March, April, and July 2026 brought in $3.46 billion combined. These months were among only four during the period – January, February, May, and June – which saw net outflows amounting to $8.75 billion.
Year-to-date, Bitcoin ETFs have experienced a net outflow of approximately $5.3 billion. Overall, since their launch in January 2024, cumulative net inflows total $51.32 billion. At the end of July 2026, total net assets within these funds reached $76.29 billion.
Alongside Bitcoin ETF activity, Ether ETFs posted a $365.2 million inflow during July 2026 – the second month this year with positive flows for the asset class. XRP ETFs also experienced inflows, recording $27.3 million in July and marking their fifth positive month of 2026.
The shift towards weekly negative flows at the end of July 2026 follows three consecutive weeks of inflows. Ether ETFs posted a net outflow of $61.53 million for the week ending July 31, 2026, while Ether’s year-to-date outflows now stand at approximately $1.1 billion. XRP ETFs have recorded $343 million in total inflows to date.
