Blockchain.com Aims for IPO by Year-End, Bloomberg Reports

The cryptocurrency services provider Blockchain.com is reportedly targeting an initial public offering by the end of 2025, according to Bloomberg, which cited unnamed sources. The company is said to be seeking to raise $500 million in the IPO, which would value it between $4 billion and $6 billion. The report follows Blockchain.com’s filing of a confidential IPO application with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission earlier this year.

The potential listing comes amid a quieter environment for crypto IPOs in 2026 compared to the more active 2025, when firms such as Circle, Gemini and Bullish completed their own listings. Bloomberg noted that a depressed crypto market in the first half of 2026 may have delayed some listings, though asset prices are expected to recover later in the year.

Blockchain.com has not commented on the report, leaving the accuracy of the valuation and fundraising targets unconfirmed. The company’s application with the SEC remains confidential, and no further details about the IPO timeline or structure have been disclosed. Analysts suggest the broader market conditions will play a critical role in determining the success of the offering.
