Injective Institutional Services Registers with SEC as Transfer Agent

Injective Institutional Services, a division of the Injective blockchain ecosystem, has secured registration with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a transfer agent. This development enables the entity to maintain records of securities ownership and facilitate changes in ownership, a function critical to the administration of tokenized assets.

The registration follows the launch of Injective Mint, a platform designed to issue and manage tokenized assets. The move underscores Injective’s expansion into tokenization initiatives spanning digital asset treasury markets, equities, and pre-IPO company shares.

By aligning its transfer agent capabilities with Injective Mint, the firm aims to streamline processes for tokenizing real-world assets. The SEC registration was filed in July, reflecting a strategic step to comply with US regulatory frameworks governing securities.

Injective’s activities highlight growing interest in blockchain-based solutions for asset tokenization, with potential implications for capital markets and institutional investment in digital assets. The firm has not disclosed immediate plans for new tokenization projects but has emphasized compliance as a priority.
